Born and raised in Montana, his father was the quintessential self-employed businessman, Scott grew up working side by side with his father in various ventures, from real estate sales and development, food service to retailing and product development and sales.

Scott began his professional career in radio broadcasting, working his way through the ranks in sales, on-air, production to station manager.  He started consulting businesses in their advertising and sales training in an effort to sell more advertising and build business.  This became such a  popular service that he decided to open an agency. 

He moved to Oregon to join many of his family members and started Ingalls & Associates. 

Scott believes that many small businesses fail due to poor  advertising choices.  He understands that the only way to afford enough advertising is to achieve results—return on investment.  They must advertise and use an entire business strategy including sales training, staff development, efficient workplace presentation and clear and concise goals and objectives.

Currently Scott serves as a Rotarian, consults and volunteers for local organizations and produces successful events of his own as well as maintaining the one–to-one relationships with his clients.

With a background in hospitality and tourism and a focus on hotel sales and marketing, Jill has held several positions that have provided great service opportunities.  As executive director of the Albany Downtown Association for 10 years, Jill enjoyed the challenge of building a successful association, filling vacant retail space with healthy business and providing award winning promotions.   During this time Jill became versed in economic restructuring including business development and retention.  As a non-profit association director she learned the challenges of funding and volunteerism.  Jill is currently the lead contract manager for the Oregon Festivals & Events Association and the Oregon Tour & Travel Alliance.

Jill is available to guide you in the following areas:

Jackie Lohner comes to Ingalls & Associates with a background in County Fairs. Born and raised in a farming community of Eastern Oregon , she served her internship from Oregon State University with the Benton County Fair, where she worked with exhibitors and superintendents. She was one of two primary registration coordinators for the NW Festival & Event Conference in 2006 at Seaside .

Jackie is a key contact in exhibit sales, event coordination and membership services in the Ingalls & Associates office.

 

John Leckie – Operations

John Leckie has earned the title of “Cando”. John is responsible for all operations including staffing and equipment decisions. John serves as the primary event set manager for all Ingalls & Associates events, including the Willamette Valley Ag Expo and Corvallis Area Home & Living Expo. Formerly the Operations Manager for the Linn County Fair & Expo Center he comes to Ingalls & Associates with nearly 10 years of event and facility operations experience.
